What they’ll learn

  • The 7 elements of art are the foundation of all art pieces.

    Your 3rd-7th graders will be learning how to use all 7 of them!

  • By the end of this course, your kids will be able to confidently sketch plants, use elements of art in your own masterpieces, and step outside with a brand new perspective.

Course FAQ

  • This course is designed with 3rd-7th graders in mind. However, because of the differentiation and step-by-step videos from me, an 8th grader could still find it challenging and a 2nd grader could complete it with adult supervision.

  • You’ll receive login information to access the full course. Each lesson has its own page with a video. Read the instructions, gather supplies, then create along with me as I teach the topic in the lesson.

  • That’s mostly up to what works best for your family! I suggest completing this course over 1 semester. That means you will need to complete 2 lessons per week. You’ll be done in 21 weeks if you do it this way.

    BUT

    If you’d rather spread it out over a full school year, just do 1 per week!

“This class is a beautiful blend of the elements of art, plant science and a bit of Botany. This class is a high quality course. The teacher put a lot of work into this class. It is a very polished course. The teacher is kind, supportive and responsive. The teacher was able to connect with my son through the material. There are many worksheets you will have to print but your learner could draw the material on a piece of paper in a pinch. This course includes quizzes but the quizzes were more of a game with music and they were fun! Although this course was set up to have an activity almost every day we did it at our own pace on our own schedule and the teacher was supportive of this. This is a robust course! My son’s favorite parts were searching for leaves in our back yard and the painted leaf. This class helped my son to really look at the nature all around him. Thank you for offering a high quality course. Highly recommended!”
