line art scavenger hunt printable

Introduce your kids to the element of line through hands-on play.

As an art teacher, I always incorporate nature and animals with art. This is one of the activities I use to do that!

A clipboard with a sign that says, 'Go outside and look for these lines. Check them off when you find them,' alongside a worksheet with various types of lines such as diagonal, intersecting, curved, dotted, wiggle, and curly. A pink pen points to the worksheet, and a large green palm leaf is partially visible in the background on a wooden surface.
Two educational worksheets on a wooden surface. The left worksheet is for beginners, titled 'Learn to identify the element of line,' showing examples of different types of lines and checkboxes. The right worksheet is for intermediates, titled 'Draw using the element of line,' with blank boxes for drawing lines.
An educational worksheet titled 'find it!' with examples of different line elements, including diagonal, intersecting, zig-zag, curved, dotted lines, wiggly, wiggly intersecting, and curly in color and black and white versions. The background shows a wooden surface. A caption reads: 'Great for introducing the element of line in a hands-on, play-based way.'
